About the Nightlight Astrology School
Nightlight Astrology is an archetypal and traditional astrology school based out of the Sky House Yoga studio in the DC/Maryland area. The Nightlight Astrology school is directed and run by astrologer Adam Elenbaas, who launched both his professional astrology practice and the Nightlight Astrology School from New York City in July of 2010. A year later in 2011, Adam and his wife, Ashley Litecky Elenbaas, founded the Sky House Yoga studio in Washington DC and have been collaborating professionally ever since, offering astrology readings, yoga classes, and clinical herbal medicine, as well as study courses and training programs in their respective fields. The "donation-based" model offered through various services and programs at Sky House and Nightlight comes from the simple idea that nobody should be priced out of holistic healing services, as well as the desire to create more inclusive community experiences overall. At the core of the Nightlight and Sky House vision is also the belief that both donation-based or sliding scale transaction models allow money and energy exchanges to remain vital and psychically relevant day after day, rather than being just another lifeless bottom line.

The Spiritual Background
The Nightlight approach to astrology comes from a decades worth of regular work with South American ayahuasca shamanism, yoga and meditation, as well as the deeply sustained academic research of mythology, comparative religion and philosophy, traditional astrology, the arts and altered states, archetypal psychology and numerous forms of divination (specifically Horary astrology, the IChing, and Tarot).
